Staff Management Group a leader in the light industrial and clerical staffing world serving all of New Jersey is looking for _ a skilled entry level Sales Professional to join our team._

The territory will include north Jersey and the surrounding areas which include nine of our 18 offices. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional looking for a solid outside business to business sales career with a great company. The incoming Sales Rep will be able to learn the industry and develop by working with an extensive team of experienced professionals.

In this role, the Sales Rep will be trained and developed to help build the company’s revenues by building business and relationships all over the region. This would include small and large businesses, with a strong focus in the industrial & manufacturing business sector. This position focuses on new business sales as there is a heavy focus on new business generation and hunting for new customers.

Job description includes but is not limited to:

• Travels, by car and/or walking, throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to develop clientele.
• Develops and maintains outstanding working relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
• Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
• Intermediate technology skills such as Microsoft Office Applications, Internet, Cellular use
• Strong problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated use of excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position will require the candidate to travel up to 90% of the time in their assigned territory. Candidate must be willing and able to use their own vehicle to drive within their territory to various stores. A car and cell phone allowance will be provided. Motor Vehicle check and proof of insurance will be required before on-boarding.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma required;
• 1-3 years of sales/customer service experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary will commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
